Appointed in September 2013, Datim were asked to refurbish the public WC facilities to the above. The challenge being keeping the public informed and working closely with the staff to ensure that the 75,000 visitors would that pass through during the contract period were kept safe, but also had facilities to use during the period, with a second challenge of undertaking the works within two grade 1 listed structures.

We split the works in to two distinct areas with completion of both being critical to important dates in the properties calendar one being their food and craft festival which attracts 25,000 visitors over one weekend and the other being the run into Christmas, the second busy period of the year. The project was successfully completed on time for both phases, which included additional works and a redesign of phase 2 halfway through to extend what was available for the client.
